Relief action for people on the run
"Creating freedom in a mobile world and shaping a sustainable future." Following this motto, we at ANSMANN develop products that make life easier. So it was no question for us to support the relief action initiated by our partner Swobbee for the people fleeing the Russian government's devastating war of aggression.
Swobbee CEO Thomas Duscha was born and raised just a few kilometers from the Ukrainian border in the Polish town of Tomaszów Lubelski; his grandfather came from Lviv in western Ukraine. Thanks to his good contacts with the mayor of the city of Tomaszów Lubelski, we knew that especially flashlights, powerbanks and batteries were urgently needed on site.
We reacted immediately and provided 5,000 flashlights, 500 powerbanks and thousands of batteries. These, with other donations, were already brought to the Ukrainian border on March 11 in a convoy organized by Swobbee and Onomotion.
